This class is designed to help sailors of all experience levels better understand the weather—whether you're planning a short day sail, a local race, a cruise around the bay, or an extended offshore passage. No matter your skill level, there's always something new to learn! If you're unsure how to check and interpret the weather to plan your sail confidently, this seminar is for you.

Meet Your Instructor
James "Randy" Gray brings over 24 years of sailing experience, with more than 15,000 nautical miles offshore. He is a current DSC Instructor, a US Sailing Keelboat and Powerboat Instructor, and a USCG 100-Ton Master Captain Offshore. Randy has navigated and sailed boats ranging from J/22s to 56m superyachts, applying the knowledge he'll share in real-world scenarios.
Class Location & Logistics
- Location: Liberty Room, 3rd floor of the brick building along Key Highway
- Entry Instructions: You'll receive an email with building access details on the day of the class
