The Downtown Sailing Center seeks a visionary and strategic Executive Director to lead the organization.  This is an exciting time to lead one of the largest community sailing centers in the country!

This role requires a dynamic leader with a commitment to community engagement, high quality educational programs, and the development of accessible waterfront recreation.  As the Executive Director, you will work closely with the Board of Directors, current community stakeholders, City and State agencies, local nonprofits, and national philanthropic organizations to expand access to sailing, spearhead transformative capital projects, and establish the Downtown Sailing Center as an inclusive hub for maritime recreation and education.

The Downtown Sailing Center is seeking Instructors for our Summer 2024 Camp Season. Camp runs from June 17 - August 23, with one additional week of training prior to the start of Camp. Operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

We are hiring Instructors for our Beginner, Intermediate, and Racing level programs depending on your skill level as a sailor, and your experience instructing. Hourly pay ranges from $16 - $20. Exceptional work is recognized with additional pay, either in the form of end-of-season bonuses, or for returning staff an increase in hourly rate.

Applicants for any position within our Summer Camp structure are expected to be available for the entire duration of both Staff Training Week, and the ten weeks of Camp operation. Exceptions can be made if communicated well in advance.
