Downtown Sailing Center is a non-profit outreach organization whose mission is to make the joy of sailing accessible to everyone, regardless of age, income, ability or disability. We offer free or affordable access to quality sailing programs and events without the cost of private ownership or boat maintenance.

Sail for Kids is an annual race to Baltimore organized by BCYA and MRSA, benefiting DSC's outreach programs. The event includes a race from Baltimore Light to Baltimore Harbor, Limited One Design racing off Ft. Mc Henry on J/22's and Sonars, a post-race celebration, and an awards presentation.
