Sailing is an exhilarating way for children to learn teamwork, concentration and self-confidence not to mention a deep appreciation for the environment in which we live.
You have three options to choose from:
Access Dinghy Sailing: (ages 8-12)
This program has been developed as a great way for participants to learn the sport of sailing. Participants will learn the basics of sailing on our access dinghy fleet. These two person, non-capsizable dinghies are a perfect way for anyone to learn how to sail. They are a fun and easy way to get out on the water on your very first day.
Beginner/Intermediate Keelboat: (ages 8-13)
The second option for learn to sail is on the DSC keelboats. Participants will head out on the water on our J22 fleet-4 person boats and learn the basics of the sport.
Advanced Keelboat: (ages 11-16) This program will be more specifically designed towards teaching beginner sailors how to become intermediate to advance sailors. It will focus on more thorough on the water drills with our highest level of instructors.
Each day begins at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM, with extended day programs available (with additional costs) from 8:15-9 AM and 4-5 PM.
*Final decision on the participant's level will be decided by the head instructor.
