Practice Starts Racing Clinic

Races are won and lost at the start line!

Racing starts are challenging and can be stressful! Join this short clinic where we will have a brief chalk talk covering starting rules and a few basic strategies, we will spend the majority of the time on the water practicing using our Hansa Dinghies to allow folks to practice their starts and tactics in a smaller boat. Participants will also be familiarized with the assembly, rigging, and de-rigging of the dinghies.

Participant Requirements 

1. Complete this Hansa Waiver - https://www.signwell.com/new_doc/X2VHcHI9Vob21ECB/ 
2. Prior sailing experience
3. Experience driving a sailboat
4. Some racing experience is recommended
