This offering of CPR/First Aid is open to DSC instructors and staff. Those that fall into these categories will receive a sign-up code for the course.
This First Aid and CPR/AED course will cover CPR/AED procedures for Adults and First Aid topics relevant to sailors, including Heat Stroke / Heat Exhaustion / Hypothermia, Strokes, Heart Attacks, Bites / Stings, and Stop the Bleed.
Note that you must be present for the full 3 hours to receive certification, and the course will begin promptly at 9am. The certification will be through the Red Cross, which is accepted as a valid certification by US Sailing for certified US Sailing Basic Keelboat Instructors.
