Ahoy! The Downtown Sailing Center, Baltimore City’s community sailing organization, is offering a chance to try sailing for FREE—no experience necessary!

Come explore everything the DSC has to offer and enjoy a 1-hour sail around the Inner Harbor. While all ages are welcome to visit the facility, participants must be at least 7 years old to sail.

Event Details:

Choose from two convenient arrival times:

  • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
  • 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM

About the event:

  • Qualified DSC skippers and crew will operate the boats.
  • Life jackets will be provided (and required) for all participants.
  • Minimum age for sailing is 7 years old.
  • Maximum group size per boat is 4.
  • We recommend wearing close-toed shoes and bringing a bottle of water.
  • Our experienced skippers will ensure you are in safe hands!

This is a FREE event open to the public. Please register in advance to secure your spot. The event is rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather! When you arrive, park in the gravel lot near the water and check in with DSC volunteers near the docks.
