Summer Camp!

BEGINNER: (Ages 8-16), 1 Week Program

Our beginner sailing program is perfect for those experiencing sailing for the first time or for returning campers who want to refine their foundational skills before progressing. Each beginner boat includes 4-6 campers and one instructor, ensuring a supportive learning environment.

In this program, campers will develop wind awareness, learn the parts of the boat, practice essential knots, and understand key points of sail. They’ll also gain hands-on experience with tacking, jibing, basic sail trim, skippering basics, and navigating a simple windward-leeward course. Our goal is to help everyone feel confident as a crewmember while introducing the skills needed to eventually take on a skipper's role.
