Maker's Space - DIY Flag

Join us for a unique work party where we'll transform retired sails into decorative flags. You'll learn how to hem the flags and add grommets. We'll provide acrylic paint, brushes, and stencils for decorating. This is a wonderful opportunity to create a piece of DSC history for your home or to make a special gift for the upcoming holiday season. 

All are welcome, from experienced sewers to beginners! Please sign up as "Intermediate" if you feel comfortable with basic use of a sewing machine, especially if you're willing to help others learn.

This event will be held in the Liberty Room, on the 3rd floor of the brick building along Key Highway. You'll receive an email on the day of the event with building entry instructions.
