**This clinic is a Skipper Diversity Initiative practice. **

Skipper Diversity Initiative Candidates and Mentors! This will be our first group practice session. We will focus on solidifying the basics this week with drills to practice tacking, jibing and points of sail.

We will have a chalk talk on land first followed by on-the-water practice, so dress for the weather!

The Skipper Diversity Initiative is a pilot program for the 24/25 offseason with the goal of increasing diversity amongst the DSC skipper population. The goal is for this cadre of sailors to graduate as skippers, thereby allowing us to expand programs like WoW, BIPOC Sailing Events, and more.
