The Baltimore chapter of the American Friends of Lafayette will be recreating General Lafayette and his entourage’s visit to Fort McHenry by boat as part of the bicentennial celebration of Lafayette's commemorative tour of the United States.
The DSC will be providing two cruisers to transport Lafayette's entourage from our docks to Fort McHenry, to arrive at 2pm (weather permitting).
The entourage may include the French Ambassador to the United States (invited), Councilman Costello (invited), and other dignitaries. Members of the media will be also be participating.
This event is open to all experienced current cruising skippers and crew. Space is limited so please ensure you are able to commit to this event prior to registering. If you are interested in participating and unable to register, please join the waitlist!
