Volunteer Registration - 2024 Ya Gotta Regatta

Registration

• A) Parking Attendant (7:15am - 12:30pm)
  Facilitate parking, including directing cars to reserved Accessible spots.
• B) Registration - Morning (7:15AM - 11:00AM)
  Help set up the registration table. Check in Sailors and Volunteers as they arrive. Sell DSC merch as needed.
• C) J/22 Mark Boat Operator (7:30AM - 4:00PM)
  Experience driving a power boat is required, and setting a One Design race course prefered.
  
  Operator MUST have BOAT US Safe Boater certificate.
• D) J/22 Race Committee Crew (7:30AM - 4:00PM)
  Assist with hoisting and lowering the flags, keeping score, and dropping and hauling marks. Experience running races and racing sailboats is strongly recommended.
• E) PHRF Race Committee Crew (9:00AM - 4:00PM)
  Assist the PHRF PRO in starting and scoring the PHRF Pursuit Race.
• F) Accessible Sailing Greeter/Escort (10:00am - 12:00pm)
  Check in Accessible sailors, provide them with a PFD, and escort them to the assigned area or boat. Help clean up and break down the registration table
• G) Hansa Dinghy Rigging (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Rig and De-rig the Access Dinghies. You may also assist in helping sailors to enter/exit the boats.
• I) Hansa Mark Set (9:00am - 3:00pm)
  Experience driving a power boat is required. Operate the mark set/photographer boat for the Hansa and/or Sonar courses.
  Operator MUST have BOAT US Safe Boater certificate.
• J)Hansa and Sonar Signal boat (committee)(9:00am - 3:00pm)
  Assist the PROs and mark set in running Hansa and Sonar races. Start the races and score boats as they finish.
• K) Sonar Coach (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Support the Accessible regatta! You will be coaching up to 3 participants on a DSC Sonar.
• L) Sonar Crew - 10:00am - 3:00pm
  Support the Accessible regatta! Assist the coach/skipper as needed in providing sailing instruction and boat handling.
• M) Hoyer Lift operator/assistant. (10:00am - 3:00pm)
  Training on our manual Hoyer lift is required to fill this role.
• N) Merchandise Table - After-party (3:30PM-7:30PM)
  Help sell YGR and DSC merchandise at the Little Havana after-party
• O) Dockside assistance (10:00am - 3:00 pm)
• P) Little Havana Decorating (3:00pm - 4:00pm)
• Q) Little Havana After-Party Clean Up (7:00pm - 8:00pm)
