Crew Signup: Bay to Baltimore Cheering Section

This signup is for members interested in cheering for Katie Pumphrey as she enters the Baltimore Harbor after a long swim from the Bay Bridge! See full details on her swim at www.swimkatie.com.

We will take out a few DSC cruisers and one members private boat for a cheering section and to allow local media to cover the event from the water. 

The swim date is dependent on conditions, and as of 6/21 is projected to be Tuesday. Katie estimates she will finish around 3pm so DSC boats will leave the dock at 1pm to see her come in. Supportive signs and cheering are all welcomed and Katie provided the following guidance for cheer boats.

For cheering boats- generally just keep your distance and give me & my crew some space- but I would love to see and hear ya! YAY! (Maybe not continuous cheering that may be too much haha but I appreciate the cheers for sure.) *I just ask, please, no one tell me what time it is, or how far I've gone / how far I have left. I've learned that info can be hard to hear sometimes.*

Otherwise- obviously, make sure you're not impeding my progress or any of my support boats. Stay safe out there. And if you can help it, try not to create any major wake for me to swim through when ya approach/depart. :)
