Fall Work Party - Dayfleet - Repair

Join us as we prepare the DSC to head into the winter. At this work party we will address some basic repair needs on DSC J/22s and Sonars.

Main tasks we plan to accomplish:

  • Re-bed chainplate covers
  • Re-bed toe-rails and other leaky deck fittings

No boat-work experience is necessary. We will provide instruction and all necessary tools and supplies.  You should be comfortable using basic hand-tools and cordless drills and impact drivers. The marine sealant we use (UV4000) doesn't easily wash out of clothes, so please dress accordingly.  Thank you for your volunteerism!
