2022 Ya Gotta Regatta - Access-Ability Sailor Registration

Registration

  • This boat is ideal for those who may need trunk support while sailing. You will sail with a skipper and crew, and we encourage you to haul a line or take a turn at the helm!

  • This registration is for those interested in racing in a Hansa Access 303 Dinghy. These are our 1- to 2-person adapted boats. You may sail on your own or bring a guest.
  • You will sail a course in the inner harbor starting near the DSC, out to Fort McHenry and back.

You've sailed all summer, either through our Access-ability Saturdays & Sundays or through one of our Outreach Events. Now it's time to strut your stuff and show off your racing skills in our Annual 'Ya Gotta Regatta'. 

This event is free for all sailors and volunteers in the

Access-ability classes.

Check in starts at 12:30pm and sailing time will be from 1:30pm until 4:00pm.  The after-party at the Pavilion runs from 3pm to 8pm. Please register for the after party at this link: Charm City's Ya Gotta Regatta

  • Hansa Access 303 Dinghy - This boat is a one- to two-person sailboat specifically designed for people with limited mobility or require trunk support. They are easy to sail, perfect for learning and can be sailed solo, or with a family member or friend.  You will sail in several short races on a triangular course in front of the DSC.
  • Freedom 20 keelboat - This boat is recommended for those who require trunk support and stability.  This class will sail a course in the harbor starting near the DSC, out to Fort McHenry and back, starting at the same time as the Sonar 23s.
  • Sonar 23 keelboat - This boat is easily adapted and boasts a roomy cockpit for comfort. This class will sail a course in the harbor starting near the DSC, out to Fort McHenry and back, starting at the same time as the Freedom 20s.

Hoyer lift transfer assistance is available for boarding/disembarking any of our boats. We will provide all safety equipment, including life jackets.

Please cancel if you are unable to attend in order to give your space to another sailor.
