What to know the difference between ropes and lines? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Intro to Sailing is the course for you! The course is designed to help new sailors feel comfortable on a boat and teach them the basic skills needed to competently crew on a small keelboat with an experienced skipper. An experienced instructor and up to three students are on the water in a Sonar. Sonars are keelboats which are safe (non-capsizable), comfortable and fun. If you have sailing experience but are rusty or did not learn from professionals, we strongly recommend taking this course. "Intro to Sailing" is a prerequisite for the "Beyond Intro" course.
