To close out the 2021 sailing season we will be running a clinic on basic spinnaker handling for racing on the J/22's.  All racing teams are encouraged to participate.  We will cover boat set up and rigging, sets, gybes, douses, and trimming.

Schedule:

• 11:30 to 12:30 - brown bag lunch/chalk talk
• 12:30 to 1:00 - break/rig boats
• 1:00 to 3:30 - on-the-water practice
• 3:30 to 4:00 - debrief

Participation is limited to 10 boats (1 skipper and 3 crew per boat).

Please note: This is an "advanced" clinic for folks who have flown spinnakers before or have significant racing experience. If you have questions about the event, please email John O at john@downtownsailing.org about participating.
