The Blue Full Hunter's Moon Cruise for Halloween

The previous one was in 2001, the next one is 2039, 2020 Halloween night is a Blue  Full Moon  and this happens on Halloween day every 18/19 years.

Bring your Halloween Mask with you, wear your Halloween Costume and come and sail on the longest night of the year ( Day saving time change).

Take this opportunity to sail at sunset and during the evening hours out toward the Francis Scott Key bridge. Enjoy the moonrise and learn about night navigation. Night sail is a different experience with Day sail

All Cruising Crew and Cruising Skippers who have paid their upgrade fee are eligible to participate. 

Crew will be expected to assist in departing and docking at night, trimming the sails, and looking out for channel traffic, and unlit buoys. If sailing beyond White Rocks, skippers must file a FLOAT PLANwith the DSC office and a friend. (Sample template available on the DSC website.) PFDs must be worn at all times.  

Bring snacks, water, and layered clothing for any changes in the weather.  Most important, HAVE FUN!
