Access Dinghy Orientation - August

Are you a DSC Member? Do you know you have full reservation privileges to our Access Dinghy Fleet? Well you do! 

But before you can take out the dinghy on your own you must take an Access Dinghy Orientation with a DSC staff member. We will be offering this orientation on the first Wednesday of every month, May through September. 

Please REGISTER for these orientations. You'll be meeting at the DSC docks at 5:30 PM for your orientation. Please arrive dressed in your regular sailing gear with sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and close toed shoes.

The orientation will range from 2-3 hours. You will be oriented on the following:

  • Safety on the Access Dinghies
  • Rigging Access Dinghies
  • Launching dinghies
  • Docking and Derigging 

Life jackets are provided by the Downtown Sailing Center. Upon completion you will be presented with a Skipper waiver. Once the orientation is completed you will receive a Reservation System Login and Password so you can start reserving boats!
