Cruising Crew and Skippers, are you ready to get competitive with your cruising?!
With a forecast from 8 to10 knot this weekend, all cruising members are invited for the "Sunday Funday Race " .
All are welcome, from beginner to pro-racer. You don't need prior racing experience, but we ask that you arrange with a team so that you'll sail with the same team all season, and this will greatly enhance your racing experience. In order to join a team, please email Cruising@downtownsailing.org Each team will have at least two cruising skippers.
The race course will be from the DSC docks to a buoy near the bridge and back. 5 boats will race every month. Vessels will be assigned to teams on the day of, and the boats will rotate every month.
Meet at the docks at 11.00 for a pre-race briefing, and then, it's literally off to the races.
