Access Dinghy Orientation and Dinghy Member Sail: Members Only

Are you a DSC Member? Do you know you have full reservation privileges to our Access Dinghy Fleet? Well you do! 

But before you can take out the dinghy on your own you must take an Access Dinghy Orientation with a DSC staff member. We will be offering this orientation every other Wednesday during the sailing season from May through September. 

NOTE: If you have already been oriented then you use this time as a member sail to enjoy sailing around the harbor with the comfort of knowing that a powerboat will be around for safety. 

Please REGISTER for these orientations and member sails. You'll be meeting at the DSC docks at 5:30 PM for your orientation. Please arrive dressed in your regular sailing gear with sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and close toed shoes.

The orientation will range from 2-3 hours. You will be oriented on the following:

• Safety on the Access Dinghies
• Rigging Access Dinghies
• Launching dinghies
• Instructional Sail
• Docking and Derigging 

Life jackets are provided by the Downtown Sailing Center. Upon completion you will be presented with an Access Dinghy Skipper waiver. Once the orientation is completed you will be receiving a Reservation System Login and Password so you can start reserving boats!
