DSC Cruising will winterize all the cruisers during two work parties on October 28 and Nov 04. At least one cruiser will remain online for use throughout the winter season. The available cruiser will need to be re-winterized after each use.
This is a great opportunity for you to see and learn about how to: (a) winterize (b) change the oil (c) take the sails down (d) fuel up (e) pump out and a whole lot more. Absolutely no prior experience required. You can even bring a guest if you like.
All new 2017 cruising skippers and all boat managers are required to attend the work party to see how the DSC Cruisers are properly winterized. Skippers anticipating using a DSC Cruiser during the winter season should also attend to refresh their memory on the proper procedures to use.
