CANCELLED - Spring Work Party

  • Take our sanding machines and light sand the bottoms
  • Looking for "Stay between the lines" types!
  • This job involves using a buffer to shine the topsides of all the J22s.
Due to forecast of low temps and precipitation, the April 7th work party has been cancelled.  Please consider coming out instead on Sunday, April 8th or Saturday, April 14th.  Join the DSC to kickoff the new season. Our boats are in need of some TLC. We are pulling the bulk of our fleet out of the water for the month of March to get them primed and ready for sailing in April. 

There will be a happy hour at the Little Havana afterwards. And of course, great times with your DSC friends. 

We will be meeting at the DSC for a short safety briefing and introductions, working until around 3:00 pm, with a break for lunch.  Afterwards we will head to Little Havana for (boat maintenance) refreshments.

On site training provided. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn in a fun and social atmosphere. Dress to get dirty, bring a smile and maybe a friend! 

Come on down Saturday, April 7th. There is a TON of work to accomplish but if the weather cooperates we can get the boats in early. With your support we can make 2018 a season to remember!
