STEM Educator Course

The Downtown Sailing Center will be hosting a professional development opportunity for educators to be trained in the Reach curriculum. The Reach curriculum was created by US Sailing as a STEM education initiative. This program is designed to use sailing as an educational platform for STEM and environmental education. The cost of this event is $150, which includes the 8-hour training session, materials, and a US Sailing STEM Educator course certification. Formal educators may also receive a certificate for professional development hours. Limited scholarships are available. Contact the Downtown Sailing Center for more information.
