  • Teach new sailors the basics of steering, trimming, and sailing and then calmly and carefully relinquish the tiller for an afternoon of fun and exciting racing!

    Skipper Coaches must be DSC approved Skippers, having been vetted by the professional staff and/or serving in good standing as a DSC skipper level member.
  • You are happy to help out on land but your heart is set on the sea! Help our Skipper Coaches keep their crew happy and competently moving forward toward the finish line!
  • Help set up the event and keep everyone organized and on track for success!

Sign up to help run the 23rd Annual RCM&D regatta!

The event starts bright and early at 8 AM for coaches and volunteer support staff with a team meeting and the event wraps up around 4PM, just in time for a fun and fulfilling happy hour with all your new friends by the waterfont. 

Typically, we hold a morning practice before coming in for a delicious lunch. The regatta is run just off the DSC docks, with races varying but often running up toward the Inner Harbor our out to Canton and the historic Fort McHenry. 

Please sign up as a coach or as a support staff. Support staff may remain landside or help out as sailing assistants.
