Rules of the Road - Cruising at the Downtown Sailing Center

Description: This 2-hour seminar is one in a series developed by the DSC Cruising Program.  All Cruising Skipper Candidates (CSCs) and members interested in sailing the cruising vessels should attend.  This “Rules of the Road” seminar will be presented by Tom Bowman, and will cover the navigation rules to be followed by ships and other vessels to prevent collisions between two or more vessels; also known as Colregs: General definitions, collision avoidance, conduct of vessels in sight of one another, lights and shapes, sounds and light signals, and ATONs (Aids to Navigation).
