Monday June 6, 13, 20, & 27

For those who have completed the BK Part 2 Course, this course is the NEXT and final STEP for you to become a skipper!

In this course, you will learn the Quickstop POB Rescue, how to reef and anchor your boat, and how to prepare for and prevent sailing emergencies.

Part 3 also includes an optional BK test and certification portion, offered to you at no additional cost. Successful completion of the on-the-water and written test results in US Sailing's Basic Keelboat Certification.

Please sign up for Introduction or Part 2 if you have not taken lessons with the DSC before.

If you are new to the DSC, please contact Stuart via Stuart@downtownsailing.org to make sure you are placed in the appropriate class. Sailing is a lifetime sport and we want to make sure you have as much success as you possibly can.

This course is Part 3 of a 3-Part US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification program. BK Part 2 is a great course for those who already have lots of experience sailing.
