Access Dinghy Orientation: Members and Ya Gotta Tri

Forget the swim. Let's sail, bike and run! Come on out to participate in the DSC's 1st annual triathlon! We're seeking people of all ages and abilities to join in on the fun. You don't need to be an experienced sailor, cyclist, or runner. You don't need to be a member of the DSC either. This is a family-friendly event and we hope you'll join us!

Access Dinghy Orientation

Are you a DSC Member? Do you know you have full reservation privileges to our Access Dinghy Fleet? Well you do!

But before you can take out the dinghy on your own you must take an Access Dinghy Orientation with a DSC staff member. We will be offering this orientation every other Wednesday during the 2016 sailing season. 

Please REGISTER for these orientations, you'll be meeting at the DSC docks at 5:30 PM for your orientation. Please arrive dressed in your regular sailing gear with sunscreen, sunglasses, hat and close toed shoes.

The orientation will range from 1-2 hours. You will be oriented on the following:

• Safety on the Access Dinghies
  
• Rigging Access Dinghies
  
• Launching dinghies
  
• Instructional Sail
  
• Docking and Derigging 
  

Life jackets are provided by the Downtown Sailing Center. Upon completion you will be presented with an Access Dinghy Skipper waiver. Once completed you will be receiving a Reservation System Login and Password so you can start reserving your dinghy ASAP!
