The following programs are open to all Skipper and Crew members. While the programs are free, sailors MUST register in advance to allow event organizers to properly plan. Member programs and events throughout the year can be found on the DSC calendar. Be sure to watch your email as well for updates about programs and special events.

The DSC holds recreational Member Sails almost every Wednesday and Sunday from April through October. Member Sails are open to all skipper and crew members of all skill levels. The Volunteer Dockmaster will help assign crews and make sure everybody finds a boat. Sunday sails run noon to 4pm, and Wednesday sails run 5:30pm until sunset. Please note - J/22s and Sonars will not be available for private reservations during these times.
The Frostbite series at the DSC is a casual, fun way to get on the water. No racing experience is necessary, although a basic understanding of the sailboat racing rules helps. Members meet up to set and run their own course, and no scores are kept. The schedule depends on weather (and enthusiasm!), but Frostbite events generally run on Saturdays from November through February. No racing upgrade is required.
Most Fridays throughout the regular season will find members meeting at the docks for an informal race. Like Frostbite racing, sailors run the race themselves and do not keep score. Races generally start at the DSC docks and go out to Ft McHenry and back. No racing upgrade required.
The DSC holds several Social Events throughout the year, which are open to the public and provide a family friendly atmosphere. Socials are generally BYOB events and all dock & sailing policies still apply.
