Mid-Summer Work Party 2015!

  • Help with cleaning, replacing hardware and safety checking all day fleet boats.

The DSC boats have been used so much this year with racing, camps and various programming, now they need some tender loving care!

Please join the DSC in sprucing up our day fleet on Monday 8/3, Volunteers can arrive at 5:30, work starts at 6pm. No prior fleet repair experience is necessary, on site instruction will be provided. Dress in your (work) party best, something that can get dirty! 

We will have tasks and objectives for each boat in the evening on Monday.

Some of the tasks include: 

  • mid-season boat checks and upgrads!

  • remove water stains
  • wax boats
  • bottoms scrubbed 
  • new water hose installation 
  • fun times and witty banter 
We will also be holding a brief talk on our very new VOLUNTEER TOOLBOX! Learn how you can report boat discrepancies or make common repairs to the boats without having to hunt down tools or find small parts.  

With your help we can get our fleet back into ship shape! 

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE AWARDED FREE DINNER AND UNLIMITED HIGH-FIVES FROM DSC STAFF FOR THEIR EFFORTS!
