Volunteer Registration: The League for People with Disabilities Access-Ability Sail (Session 3 of 3)

  • Please arrive at 4pm to help set up the boats
  • Sail in the Access Dinghy along with a participant.

The League for People with Disabilities  will be joining us for an evening sail.  

The program is very similar to our Access-Ability Saturday event.

We ask volunteers to arrive at 4pm to help rig the boats. If you want to help, but you can't arrive until later please email Johanna to discuss schedule. 

Downtown Sailing Center will have the League join us at the sailing center from 5:00PM-7:00PM.

It will be a great opportunity for volunteers to experience one of our accessible programs in a relaxed atmosphere. Since the program has a smaller group of participants it allows for the volunteers to learn the ins and outs while helping an amazing group of people learn to sail. 

Interested Participants: This is a private event so please contact The League for People With Disabilities for more information.

The DSC needs volunteers to fill the following positions:
  • rigger and de-rigger of boats
  • sailing buddies - 8-11
  • greeters - 2
  • transfer aids- 2
  • safety boat coach
  • Greeters and Escorts
