Saturday, May 9th & 16th (May 30th rain date) Have you always wanted to learn how to sail? Do you want to experience the joys of sailing? Want to have a great experience in the greatest city in America? What to know the difference between ropes and lines? If you answered yes to any of these questions, Intro to Sailing is the course for you! The course is designed to help new sailors feel comfortable on a boat and teach them the basic skills needed to competently crew on a small keelboat with an experienced skipper. An Introduction to Sailing course consists four Mondays from 5:30 PM until sundown. An experienced instructor and up to four students (usually only three students)are on the water in a Sonar or J/22. Sonars and J/22's are keelboats which are safe (non-capsizable), comfortable and fun.
