"Beyond Intro" - 12 hour - Intermediate Keelboat Skill Development

This course is for adults who have a strong sailing foundation but want to develop the skills needed to become a skipper. Intermediate sailing students learn how to leave and return to the dock (without a motor), how to perform crew overboard rescue, the rules of the road, basic navigation, and how to handle a boat in strong winds. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be familiar with many of the skills needed to pass a DSC skipper check-out and should be confident as crew aboard any small keelboat. This course is Part II of III in the full Adult Ed curriculum.

This is not an introductory course. Sailors should have some solid experience sailing recently. If unsure of skills, we recommend signing up for our 'Taste of Sailing'.
