Accessible Event Kernan Hospital: Volunteers Needed

The Downtown Sailing Center will have Kernan Hospital at the sailing center from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. The program is very similar to our Access-Ability Saturday event and we need volunteers. Specifically we will need 2-3 sailing buddies, 1-2 transfer aids, and 3 riggers and de-riggers. We ask that volunteers arrive at 3:30PM to help with rigging the boats.

It will be a great opportunity for volunteers to experience one of our accessible programs in a relaxed atmosphere. Since the program has a smaller group of participants it allows for the volunteers to learn the ins and outs while helping an amazing group of people learn to sail.

Interested Participants: This is a private event.
