Junior Powerboat Certification Program

Base fee:
  • Prerequisites: none although its recommended that students have some sailing/on the water experience.

This great offering will allow your son or daughter to receive a national certification from US Sailing. This program is dedicated to serious youth sailors who want to take their experiences to the next level.  If your son or daughter is interested in becoming a sailing assistant or instructor these courses are the next steps. These specialized programs involve focused on the water training and terminology.

This week-long program is focused on teaching participants how to safely operate a small powerboat. Participants will learn how maneuver a powerboat in tight spaces, practice high speed stops and learn the basic mechanics of a powerboat.

                 

Prerequisites: None

Each day begins at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM, with extended day programs available (with additional costs) from 8:15-9 AM and 4-5 PM.


*Final decision on the participant's level will be decided by the head instructor.
