Registration

(depends on selected options)

Base fee:
  • This program is for participants with a minimum of 4 weeks of sailing experience at the DSC or other performance oriented camp. This camp may involve coaching keelboats from a powerboat, which requires good communication and a mastery of basic sailing skills.
  • The most fun-oriented group at camp. Register here if your son or daughter has never been sailing before or needs extensive sailing review.

    Regular Price: $400; $360/additional campers
  • The focus for the intermediate sailors will still be on fun; The classroom portions of the camp will become more in-depth, however, and sailors will spend more focused time on learning the physical skills of sailing.

The Intermediate signup is designed for returning campers who have at least three weeks under their belts.

Registration is closed

Sailing is an exhilarating way for children to learn teamwork, concentration and self-confidence while having a ton of fun! Our Summer camp does this and more, providing your child with a safe summer camp experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Our Sailing Camp is focused on encouraging a life-long love of sailing. We are not a racing camp (though we race multiple days per week); we are not a camp where every minute is spent on the boats, either (though we do sail for a majority of the camp day almost every day). The Downtown Sailing Center's Junior Camp is designed to provide your child with a safe, FUN environment to grow as a person - and sailing is the vehicle we use to make it happen!

When registering your child (or children), please indicate the sailing level you think they will be best suited for. Our small-group size, typically with a 4:1 camper to staff ratio, help us cater our instruction to different ability levels.

Our Juniors' Camp utilizes our fleet of J/22s as the predominant means of aquatic travel, but your camper will likely also experience the Sonar and Access 303W sailboats, too. We even have a Powerboat Certification Camp for older campers!

If you would like to enroll your child in before- or after-care, please indicate your intention by selecting the appropriate "before-care" or "after-care". Each of these options is offered at an additional cost per family.
