Intro to Sailing 12 hour course, Sat & Sun. April 29 & 30, 9AM - 5PM

Have you always wanted to learn how to sail? Do you want to experience the joys of sailing? Want to have a great experience in the greatest city in America? What to know the difference between ropes and lines?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, Intro to Sailing is the course for you!

The course is designed to help new sailors feel comfortable on a boat and teach them the basic skills needed to competently crew on a small keelboat with an experienced skipper. An experienced instructor and up to four students (usually only three students)are on the water in a Sonar or J/22. Sonars and J/22's are keelboats which are safe (non-capsizable), comfortable and fun.

If you have sailing experience but are rusty or did not learn from professionals, I strongly recommend taking this course. "Intro to Sailing" is a prerequisite for the "Beyond Intro" course.

Spots are limited; full payment is required to guarantee your spot in one of our classes.
