Instructor Spring Training Weekend

  • If you are a current or past DSC instructor and you plan on attending the full training, Register HERE
  • If you are unable to make the full training for any reason, please register HERE. Please contact Stuart Proctor with reason.
  • Register here if you are a new instructor or a new instructor to the DSC.

If you are a DSC instructor: BK, Private lessons, Juniors, SIT, STEM, or a wanna be (instructor), we need YOU.

Two days of intense, OTW and classroom training to get you ready for the big leagues and big time this summer.

Mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday and we hope you can attend!

Registration details will be sent out to returning staff but if you would like to be a part of the event please register here so we know you would like to be on our team!

Topics will include:

  • Classroom Management
  • Curriculum and Lesson Plan implementation
  • Basic Keelboat Instructor Candidate information
  • Advanced Procedures: Reefing, Anchoring, Sail Trim
  • Safety Procedures: Quick Stop & Figure-8 POB Rescue techniques
  • Weather & Sailing Landscape discussions
  • Emergency Preparedness discussions
